Wish I was home. I think I would drive down there for this one even if don't need another 'N'.
O'course usual disclaimer, "Not Mine"
I wouldn't let it go for that.
8N

Not bad looking for that money. As he said, tires are expensive!
Looks like a dealer, maybe they took it in to settle a debt.

In Arkansas, Needs carb work means it doesn't run. Had family in that part of the country small tractors are very low priced. old lives down there I bet he will attest to all the small tractors for sale everywhere.

New tires and Top Hat rims and not looking like its all rusted out. At that price you could rebuild the engine and still come out good.

Makes you wonder what is not being said about it being that low. Maybe has a rod knock or maybe a mad wife LOL

I live a good 150 miles from there if not closer to 200 miles. Yep lots of small tractors in this area. Shoot I have 2 to many or is that 10 to many. Still remember and ad I answered on CL. Guy said he needed some one to fix/adjust his carb on a 9N. Went to do that job and found the oil pan full of gas and also the oil pick up tube lose. Same guy has his Corvette in my shop right now and has been there all summer due to him running it low on oil and a rod knock.

Did I miss something here? I thought he was talking about tires worth $600, also hat rims only on one side.

I have a friend that was friends with a gal who rolled her VW beetle, wanted to sell. We went out to look at it and it was caved in. She said here body & fenderman FIL said it was not fixable.

I had brought a porta power and with my friend and some wood blocks etc it took just about an hour to rough out.

I didn't have money on me so I said I would get back. They decided not to sell. It was years ago. Moral of the story: If you put on a carb and it runs, don't wait, hand em the money and load it up.

It looks like the ball socket in the end of the right side lift arm is missing. Maybe it"s a worn out tractor with a rattle can paint job and new tires.

I think it's what you guys call a mutt. Bet it's put together from many tractors' parts. It's true the tires are almost worth the price. Head lights are missing, but the "wings" are still there where they were mounted. Rear wheels already mentioned with a non 8N on that one side. Someone in the know has already looked and passed several times I bet.

flippin! my grandmother lived there for 20 years. nice little town.

1951? where's the proofmeter?

but for $950..... still may be a usable tractor for the right person...
