Almost makes moving firewood fun! Easy on the back and gave the old tractor battery a much needed recharge.

Great idea using the scoop. I have all the materials in the shop to build a 4x4 cargo box just haven't got around to welding it up. I see the big dog is standing guard keeping the varmints at bay lol

Great photos TL.
It's fun to put them to work now and then.
Looks like some good seasoned firewood there.
I have that same 706 Ford scoop only it's Blue. They're real good tools.

That looks like a good use for that scoop!! I have one - don't know who made it - that I got for $50 off CL a few months ago. Have only used it a couple times for scooping/moving some dirt and gravel.

Any seat time is therapeutic, but with global warming you should be putting out your banana bulbs or pineapple sets,,,wink.

GOOD STUFF.....2 sources of HEAT.

First....when you are cutt'n it.
Second....when your are burn'N it.

yes a scoup is a very versitle tool, also see my post a few days ago on making a fence wire stringer out of one, they have many uses besides what the were made for ,mcan also use it to feed a few animals as they will hold a small hay bale and a couple buckets of grain

I built a reversible rear scopp for my 8N many years ago for about $25 in scrap steel and find it's one of the most useful implements I have. I have two front-end loaders, but they are a PITA to put on and take off compared with the rear scoop. I move tons (literally -- almost a 14-ton load in the last month) of crushed rock with the scoop. I use it to haul other stuff like landscape rocks, black dirt, firewood, engines, etc. I'd hate to be without it.
