Aftermarket Oil Filter

Found this on an 8N. Didn't really look homemade. Does it look familiar to anyone? I wish I'd gotten better pics.
Apparently worked ok or at least it wasn't leaking or blown up.
This was about the only clean area on the engine!

Yea, adapters are made for spin-on filters for Ns..not real cheap but they are available.

looking online you can find some commercial adapters too. at least one of them even has correct flow path too.

I'd seen some modern ones (on ebay & posted here) but this one looks like it's been sorta rigged to fit. The oil lines have a couple extra fittings in there to make it work.
