Thanks for your help on my steering problem today I took the 4 bolts out of the right side and loosened the pitman arm bolt. The sector shaft seemed to be turned clockwise to the fullest.I turned it counterclock wise as far as it would go then turned it back to center. It now runs like a new 8N. My tractor does have a Davis Skylift with oversize tires all around so steering is and will always be stiff but now acceptable. Thanks again do not have to rebuild............Gerry

Glad you don't have to tear into it, but it wouldn't have been that bad.
