Live hydraulics off loader pump?

I have a wagner loader model 110 and will be putting on an 8n in the spring. my question is can I pumb up hydraulic lines for live hydraulics for the 8n off that pump. The manual sez it has a 14 GPM pump. Can I add some kind of in line reducer to meet the requirements for the 8n hydraulic system?

Yes - I do it all the time using a simple flow divider. But remember that you have to balance the flow IN with an equal flow OUT. The easiest way to do that is to use the internal reservoir on the tractor for the external pump and ditch the one inside the loader.

By putting on a flow divider would that also regulate the flow to the loader. I remember That loaders that used tractor hydraulics were painfully slow. Can I still get a quick response loader and have live hydraulics?

Thanks, Kirk

The loader speed should pretty much stay as it is unless your using both the 3 point and the loader at the same time

Full pump output goes to loader valve , OUT/RTN from loader valve goes to flow divider, 2 GPM from divider goes to test port and excess goes back to sump return. The loader works just like it always did.

(quoted from post at 18:27:46 10/18/13) what is a diverter?

Flow divider - in this case a priority divider that takes the full flow in and sends a constant measured amount (3 GPM) to one circuit and the excess (if any) to a second circuit.
