49' 8N PTO removal/repair You Tube or video?

I have a 49 8N that has Hydraulic issues. I do have the manual in front of me, but wanted to see if I could also find a video of some type as an additional reference. I found one for a TO30 pump rebuild for a 52 Ferguson, can anyone tell me if there is one available for the 49 8N too?
The lift drops immediately when the clutch is depressed. I guess the first question should be am I on the right track?

Lift cylinder/piston/o ring issue

while your pump might LOVE to be dropped to have the sump cleaned.. and maybee the relief repalced. It likely won't have much to do with the lift dropping when you clutch.

take some time and read the fo4 manual.. and notice that the lift cyl is UNDER the top cover. not in the pump itself.

while true you would pull the pto to drop the pump. you do not pul the pto to remove the lift cover.

on an 8n.. you just undo the 3pt linkage knuckles, remove seat and perimeter bolts.. and pull it. ifd a 9n/2n cover / pump.. you have to disconnect the control ford.

on either.. putting the cover back on, you need the inspec covers off to get the fork back on.. or the control rod in the slot onthe pump control.

simple gasket set. top cover and 3 under the cyl. plus i'd get a naa piston and oring and backup washer ( if it does not already have the naa piston.. etc. ).

if the bore is scratched a bit. hone with a brake hoe. if it's badly scratched.. repalce it. note. some repalcement cyls need a lil grinding to fit properly.

I Like the sounds of this procedure much better!
Could you please tell me if the following are what I need to complete this project? Due to being pretty isolated, it takes me quite awhile to have parts delivered, I would really like to have everything on hand once I get started.

NAA-530-B piston
NAA-533-A O-Ring
87051231 Neoprene backup washer
Hydraulic lift cover gasket kit (no number)

Do you suggest the Safety Relief Valve #N-638 as well.

I appreciate your original answer. If there is anything I overlooked, please let me know.

TO30 pump is not the same as you 8n pump. It's more inline with the 9n/2n system and even then you would have to file some of the metal just to get it in.
