Talked with Gary a few minutes early this morning. Leslie's condition appears to be worse than Gary related to all yesterday. Since he will not be working in the Carb Shack, and expenses will be piling up, I plan to send a card and a check and urge all others who this man has helped to do the same. I'm not sure that Gary would like this type of response. Intention is great, but he ain't the kind of guy that would be happy with receiving funds from well meaning sources. If he needs $$ he is pretty independent in that area. Not trying to put a flat note here, but I think we all should wait this deal out and give our positive thoughts and prayers for Leslie. Bob
 
Bob: Point taken!! However, few would turn down cash for gasoline to travel to and from the hospital, few would turn down cash when they can't work and a part of their income is lost. That was and is the only way I could think of to help when 500 miles away. I think he will be grateful, and if this effort offends him, I will apologize. In our part of Montana this is the way friends and neighbors pitch in when someone needs help.
