Front crankshaft seal

YA. Whats going on that you need to replace it. If you are leaking oil at that point you might want see if the leak is due to loose pan bolts. There are some hidden bolts at front of the pan you need to see if they are loose. There is a hole just below the crank pulley in the frame that give you access to them. I have had 3 Ns that leaked there due to loose bolts 2 stopped the leak the 3rd slowed to a tolerable drip. Wait for other to post they might have more to add.Post back if you still want to drop the pan. There is a trick or 2 that will make a new seal foolproof. Master of the obvious L.B,

The front wheels and axle have to be pulled away. It just takes time so unless you have a bad leak you cant live with do it. I would make sure it the seal leaking and not pan studs.

I am rebuilding my engine now and would like to use the one piece seal. I dont see it on this site, where can i get itl.
