Approximately 79,748 based on John Smith's website. (and my math)

Didn't the side mounts come out in the latter part of 50?
I started to post an answer earlier but then figured he might have been referring to the side distributer models and wasn't sure.

That was what I based my answer on UltraDog.
The "late" model with the side distributor came
out some time around May of that year I think.

I *think* he might be asking for that. however he asked for 'late' 8n #'s.. then gave no frame of reference for 'late' parameter. so.

the engineer in me came out.
