no wire on amp volt gauge

working two 48 8n tractor. looking at the gauges
there should have two wire on the gauge but they none

don't have no wire hookup with lead ..it just laying
there on top of the gauge with wire hook..
but you turn it on with switch it show discharge
on the gauge..

No, it doesn't need a two wire connection if it's the OEM loop-style ammeter.

Look for the loop on the bottom of the gauge. Just put the wire through the loop.

The needle is moved by EMF. That is the electromotive force that surrounds all electrical wires when current is flowing through them. Or you could call it the electromagnic force.
