Thanks. Didn't you just finish one of these? It looked nice.I looked for the thread, but I guess it was a few pages back. From what I can tell this one has low range and regular range. I't slower than my others in low, and the same in the other range. It almost seems faster, but I've never lined them up side by side to see. I can't get it to pull out like they're supposed to to go to direct drive, so i"m assuming it's just a step down.

Yes I just sent photos to the site as everybody likes a picture or 2 as I do too. I bought it because I wanted a H/L for my 8N but found out the hard way they made a H/L and a High. Well I was stuck with just high so fixed it up and still want a H/L. I think FLOLDFORD is right they were all High or H/L.

By the looks of the shifter it's a step up only Sherman. Have one in my serial # 849 and a couple more of them on the shelf. I could be wrong but I've never seen a step down only Sherman. That would be one really low geared tractor !! Nice looking 2n I even like the big tires. I have a 45 that I'm hope to repaint this winter and install either one of the overdrive Sherman's or the Hupp overdrive I have
