I'm nearly complete with a 1946 9N restoration and I wanted to add an indicator light to remind me if the ignition switch has been left on. I purchased a small LED type 12v indicator light and checked to see it worked with my 6v positive ground set up. Wired direct through the battery it lit nicely. Now I want to wire it to be on when the key is on. As simple as it seems, It won't light up for me. I have one lead from the light hooked to the resistor block terminal which accepts the ignition switch lead, and the other lead form the light goes directly to ground. All connections clean and tight. Any suggestions?
