Do not have the part number for the alternator that is why I said 1980 Chev pick up guess should add 350 engine to that . LOL As for the bracket most of the time I use a piece of all tread rod and on some you flip the bracket over that held the generator and set the alternator in front. Any diagram for an alternator is the same be it for an 8N or a 601 only different is the tractor but the alternator still wires up the same. I can pretty much do them in my sleep but have done hundreds of them over the years

Sorta figured that on diagram, I was just concerned about the dash light, etc. But I think JMOR has a diagram with the extra lights, etc.

Switch end of dash light stays connected. Take regulator end of dash light wire and connect to #1 pin on Delco 3 wire alternator. Connect #2 pin to big output stud on alternator.

Dash light will not work with one wire alternator
