Never have and never will use a lit since most are 1 wires. I buy an alternator made to fit a 1980 Chev pick up no power any thing no AC cost is around $45 with a life time warranty at O'Reilly's. Some wire 10 and 12 gauge and a plug for the 2 prong plug and a Radio shack diode 276-1661

Do not have the part number for the alternator that is why I said 1980 Chev pick up guess should add 350 engine to that . LOL As for the bracket most of the time I use a piece of all tread rod and on some you flip the bracket over that held the generator and set the alternator in front. Any diagram for an alternator is the same be it for an 8N or a 601 only different is the tractor but the alternator still wires up the same. I can pretty much do them in my sleep but have done hundreds of them over the years
