Home made canopy

I was looking to buy a canopy. Didn't like what I found. Since I make most everything else, I decided to make my own. Unless the sun is on either horizon, it doesn't touch me.

Or coming in from the side, as in the picture. ;)
Looks good to me! How hard is it to take the canvas off?
I haul mine on a trailer, so I wouldn't want to leave it on to get torn.

There is a hole with grommets top and bottom of frame. Para cord through the holes ties the canopy to the frame. The knots are on the underside of the canopy.

Here in beautiful mosquito-infested ND they'd find you under the canopy and suck you dry of blood in about 10 minutes!

Good job ! Where is the beer cooler and sunscreen holder? (just in case all those lovely young things {girls I hope} come a 'callin')?

Looks great. I use my 8N to pull a float on July 4th weekend. I was just thinking last Saturday that a canopy would come in handy.

How does the frame attach to the tractor?

I used a piece of 2"x6" channel. Cut off one 2" side and welded the two legs to the inside of the other 2" side. Then I burned two holes into the 6"flat and mounted them under the fender with the fender bolts.
