First 8N ever made

Yep many do not have a clue as to what they have and some even think what they have if worth big $$ since they have one that does not or never was made LOL

He's about a decade off on the year, but he has the model right.
"Asking" price isn't that outrageous either with the implements.
They don't bring that here, but I see guys "asking" $3200.

Heck, lots of folks don't have a clue as to what they have or the value. Here that tractor would get the 2300 or so. I've seen lots of stuff for sale with the wrong description, price way out of line or both.

(quoted from post at 03:34:27 07/07/13) Just another funny post on CL.
Seems like people selling something should at least a little idea of what they are selling
1939 Ford tractor 8N

Looks like they corrected the listing to read 1947 (must be an early 8N). That's probably the only thing they now know about it.

I saw one in an auction ad that was described as a "9N Jubilee NAA". It was a true Golden Jubilee. I bought the 2N that the guy who bought the Jubilee was selling. We were both happy.

i usually avoid buying machines from people that have been using htem and don't know what they are. I figure they have not been maintaining it if they don't know what they have.

That's an early one but not this early :)
