No natural heat today, just man made heat.

Was able to finally burn my brush piles due to some welcome
rain!

Where is the hotdogs?! I don't dare even think warm thoughts around here, its so dry. We had 90 to 100 degree heat all week and about 9% humidity, no rain for the last 60 days.

I'll trade ya! After the wettest spring on record, we have had rain every few days for the last month and a half. It rained both days over the weekend and may rain again today. It's getting old...

June 2013 is the wettest that I remember in my 70 years living in SE Mich. and that was confirmed on the news today. 6+ inches for the month of June exceeded only by June 1889 with over 8 inches recorded. July starting out good...rain today and tomorrow...!
I tried to burn a pile of pine needles and pine cones this morning. All it would do is make a lot of smoke.

19 Hot Shots lost their lives yesterday in the Yarnell/Prescott fire. Glad my son was not called out to that one. Arizona is dry as a bone, we could use some of your extra liquid sunshine. Say a prayer for the 19 families.

That's the last thing we would want to see around here in N California - its been hotter than I can remember for a sustained period of time - 104 and we are half way up the hill to Tahoe!!! We never have needed ac at the house as it stayed cool and we used the whole house fan to flush the heat out at night but its still hot at night another week of this and one small spark and we are going to go up in flames.....hey you smokers stop throwing your ciggies out the windows of your cars!!!!
For once its actually cooler working in the kitchen than outside!!!
Also notice not a breath of wind so its humid and stagnant as well.

I just noticed, but is that a deer in the second pic running to the left of and back a ways from the 2N?

Also, what is that on the back of the tractor?

Yes, my neighbors feed the deer and we have three fawns that
play on my property. The neighbors have thick brush and I
keep mine mowed.

I have a fork attachment to haul brush piles to the burn hole.
