good day today, finally got the old 2n my granddad gave me fired up. This has been about three or four years coming, and am glad it worked out right. granpa is 87 next month, and he was mighty happy to hear it fire again. had to grind the crank,and replace bearings,rebuild oil pump, carb job, wiring, fuel tank, clutch, which was scary close to the rivets and wrecking the flywheel, and a generator. Now it just needs some new shoes for the rear, and a governor overhaul.
I was surprised the hydraulics seem very smooth, no knocks in the pump. Thanks to everyone on the board, question askers and answerers for all their help.
