8N thermostat

Where is the thermostat on an 8N. With front mounted distributor.Don't see any thing like a normal thermostat mount.

Billie........would you believe the thermostat for the flathead 8N engine is in the upper rubber radiator hoze??? Pointy end facing the radiator. just stuff it in. Simple, eh? ......... Dell

Easiest way to find it is start squeezing on the hose. If you find a hard spot its got one in it. No hard spot, not t-stat.

to supplement what everyone else said after replacement put a wire tie or radiator hose clamp around hose where t-stat is located to keep it from wandering up and down the hose.
