What's a Fair Asking Price?

I'm seriously considering selling my 8N and implements due to lack of use and storage space. I'm just looking for some type of ballpark figure for price. Located in SE WI, 1952 6 volt 8N with Sherman Combination trans, older 20/20 paint, runs good, decent tires, starts easily, even in the winter. A 5' KK finish mower, 4 years old, very low hours; newer KK 3pt. dirt scoop; 6' scraper blade; home-made boom pole; Dearborn 13-2 spring-tine cultivator; and a Dearborn 10-183 single bottom 16" plow.

I'm glad you didn't ask, what is it worth?
Because that could be different prices for different people.
Here in southern Indiana, the tractor and implements would most likely go fur aboot $2,000.00 or some where in that price range

Just a swag, ok?
Tractor: $2200
Finish mower: $600
Dirt scoop: $175
Scraper blade: $150
Boom pole: $40
Spring tine cultivator: $275
Plow - if good share and moldboard, tail wheel, and coulters: $350
You will make more money selling things by the piece than you will with a package deal but you'll deal with more knotheads too.
I would hike those numbers up a bit as buyers will always try to talk you down. Not too high though as no one will come to look.
Myself I do not dicker on price on the phone.
Prices are as stated till you come and see the stuff and maaaybee we can talk about dropping the price.
Good luck.

On craigs list today, Ft. Wayne Ind., there is a 8-n with brand new tires front and rear plus a woods finish mower for $2200. IT looked like all it needed was a paint job of some kind. I'm assuming there weren't any major problems, or if there are they didn't state them.

Ditto above..

Check your local craigslist for prices in your area..I post my ads with my phone number [b:32989353d9][u:32989353d9]NOT[/u:32989353d9][/b:32989353d9] my e mail addy!! Like stated above, be prepared for the knotheads!! I like the ones that read all the ad and then ask if it has a 3 point!!!

Price run-down seems about right for our area (Central Ohio) too, but the finish mower would probably bring more, in the $800 - $1,000 range if in good condition.

What kind of seat is that you have on there? That's not the original one is it? Does it have two bars that come down and bolt to the top plat instead just one like seen on most 'N's? Reason I ask is it looks like the one on the 8N I just bought. Sorry, that's the best picture I have of it. I'm away from home now. You tractor does look somewhat better than mine.
