What are the threads on the MS carb drain plug? What are the sed bowl and gas tank threads?

LB........per the N-Parts MPC, the carb drain plug is 1/8-pipe. Dunno about the glass filter bowl that screws into bottom of the gastank. Tell us about yer problems, we're better than just guessin'bout thread sizes. Watt'cha fugg up??? ........respectfully, Dell

National pipe thread.

Carb drain = 1/8" NPT

IIRC, sediment bowl and gas tank = 1/4" NPT, other possibility would be 3/8" NPT.

Here's a dimensional chart:

Dell I would eat a bar of soap before I would force something like the drain plug or sed so not no fudgeing up here. I had petro coming out what I thought was the weep hole due to flooding my MS 33. It now appears its the plug in the drain has 3/8 nf so I dressed the threads and put in 1/8 pipe plug seem to be a good seal now. On the sed I took a real nice gas tank off a parts 2N and replaced my Kreem sealed tank in my latest refurbish bound 2N, My project tractor had a real nice brass sed fitting with a selector for Main and Reserve. It does not want to go in so for the time being it has a hinese pot metal one in it till I can get a OME one for it. So it looks like there are 2 different threads in the bottom of the gas tanks? Right? I hand never ran across this before. Just was looking for some tec. help and all is well. Thanks
