thrust bearings on spindles, which side up??

I took the front end apart on my 1950 8n side distributor last year and i did not pay close attention to how the following were installed.

Which side of the thrust bearing goes up one side is heavier (see photo) and the other side looks like it wraps around and caps the actual bearings, which side goes up

Also what about the top seal, one side has a grove in it (see photo) the other side looks a little beveled
thanks in advance, i will try to keep better notes and photos in future

The stamped steel cover on the thrust bearing goes up into the pocket. The movable race goes down against the spindle. I believe your picture shows the down side.
I don't know about the rubber seal. Whichever way it fits best in the steering arm pocket, I guess. The ones I use are the same on both sides so they can go either way (I don't use official store bought ones).

Typically on a seal, the lip goes towards whichever side you are trying to keep oil / lubricant from escaping.
In the case of the front wheel bearing seals - the seal is use to keep dirt from entering the wheel bearing, so the lip of the seal faces outward.
