if the laymen understood even the principle of wattage and the relation to voltage and current, we wouldn't have this many odd explanations of how a kettering ignition works.

methinks plenty of people missed plenty of schooling. ;)

And it's a shame because the basics are pretty simple. The Kettering Ignition system came out in 1910. It's not like it's rocket science.....or nuclear physics. ;)
