Topic: hook up and it still try part ll

just call it quit today ..
when to stock pile of carb 4 of them.
1 put leak like son of gun now got in carb cleaner for over night..
2 it on and start it up ran for few second and quit..this rebuild about month now
3 used a john Deere carb it started and ran for few and quit.
so it look like all the carb are the the same shape..
i put back on the jd and it run fine put new kit today check the choke and turn around so it works right.
still run quit. puzzling
did a compression check 110 in each cylinder now my next thing to do pull off intake manifold and clean out and see if there a blockage...
 
Is the fuel cap vent hole plugged? Sounds like a fuel supply problem. I'd disconnect the fuel line at the carb, turn on the fuel, and see if it runs freely.

Second thought, and I'm not being sarcastic, but are you sure you have ENOUGH fuel in the tank? It might be lower than the first stage fuel outlet. Turn the fuel knob all the way open to get the rest of the fuel out by accessing the "reserve."
