Any particular brand of electrode holder for a 200 amp welder recommended? The old holder and grounding clamp are shot on the Lincoln.

i replaced the ones that came on my hobart with some i found at tsc.

for the ground clamp i lik ethe heavy cast bronce looking one.. not the jumper cable looking one.

for the electrode holder. i got the heaviest one they had. think it was ok for 200a.. and it had a black round bakelight handle and red enamil onthe painted parts..

kinda generic electrode holder. but has been fine...

If you do welding even weekly, I would go to a welding supply store and buy a pro rated stinger. Or if not, Farm store equipment might serve at a fraction of the price. Jim

Lincoln.
They're not that much more money considering
how often you have to replace them.

G6 ,I like the twist lock rod holder stinger, there smaller for tight places, lighter to and last for many years.the brass spring loaded grounding clamp works good also.

I posted this on the tool talk side as well, and it sounds like Tweco is a good standard to use, and it is easily available at a local shop. Thanks.
