I was working on a friends 9-N distributor and
when I was done, the spark was blue, but not
really impressive. He had bought a coil about 6
months ago from CNH, which is a Taiwan unit. I am
wondering if there is a place to buy a decent coil
if you don't mind paying for it. In restoration
magazines there is a certain species of flat head
V-8 coil (the tall, skinny one I think) that is
sold only on an exchange basis, and is really
expensive. They are re-wound and give a hot spark.
Are there any good 9-N coils out there? Thanks,
Fritz
