Reading the other post makes me want to change my left axle seal. Since I changed out the thick tranny fluid to the new stuff my left leak began to leak ALOT! I think my s.n. is 471 thousand something.

Is this the "sure seal" that is talked about being so good? or is there something better? I looked for it on this site but couldn't find it.

BTW, I know I can lose some of the tranny fluid but my tractor is used on slopes so the oil is going to get all over the axles inside anyway.

I couldn't get your link to work but here are the sure seals from this site. They only fit 9N and 2N and your serial number leads me to believe you have an 8N.

Ford 9N Rear Axle Sure-Seals
Additional Information:
Fits 9N, 2N. 1 pair. No need to split collar and replace old outer axle seal. Sure-seal fits over top of sweat collar.
