Green paint is expensive. What is broke on your KK? Slap me silly and call me gumbo but you need to proof read and correct your posts so we don't have to guess what you are saying, or is it me? Are you the member that old asked you to post so we can understand what is going on? Confused Cajun.

" all it is good for is part " ...

Well, KK is pretty good about parts availability (I can still get parts for my 20-year-old finish mower). However, it sounds like you may have beaten that one far enough that it's cheaper to buy a new one. Check on the price of a new 5-foot KK and see how that compares to the Deere. Ask yourself if you beat on the Deere as bad as on the KK, will it really last longer than the KK?

pto shafts are about 120$

the big question is the stump jumper.

if the stump jumper is bent.. or the output shaft is bent.. I'd look for a use dmower. i get them on craigslist for 0-250$ all day here.

the a-frame and deck is an easy repair.

that jd mower is spendy and HEAVY takes GOOD hyds to move a HEAVY mower.

that jd mower costs as much as a average N!!!!

OK. I have both KK tools and my bush-hog is a 4ft JD-400 had it over 25 years it owes me nothing. I wish it was a 5 footer and I don't see an N having any trouble with a 5 ft. Now I got to ask how did you beat up this hog so bad? Were you using a graded bolt and not a shear bolt on the shaft? If you hit a stump and no shear bolt it a death sentence. Now the KK is my choice cause its made in the USA, at least mine are. I bet the Deere is all import parts and assembled here.My Deere was old stock USA The Flag Waving LB.

stump jumper is bent where the blade hook up on it.. shaft look straight with a square i am keep drive shaft... but need lot of work to get working..

it found a bolder and suck right to blade and three turn it was over with the bolder and didn't even make a small rock out of it all i know it a gold color bolt i used. with three mark on top of it and using 851-d type of tractor

OK thats not the correct bolt that is a graded bolt it wont shear. when ya get your new hog get extra shear bolts put one in the tractor tool box. You got real lucky as you can damage your tractor. One more thing I forgot to ask. You are using an overriding clutch one your pto? Good Luck.

Are your top pics the one you want to buy or the one you busted up?

I kinda agree green paint is pricey; theres beater hogs around here for $200-$400 that will last another 25 years if cared for even slightly.
