belly mower has a 8ft sickle

I had to put my father in a nursing home and I got stuck with cleaning up the property. I found a 2- 14 inch bottom plow. and a belly mower.I was wondering if somebody can give me a value of these two items

Plows in my area usually go for around $100 per bottom, so $200 or $250. More if really nice.

Mowers usually depend on condition and completeness. I've seen 4 footers missing brackets for $50 to nice 5' models for $200.

What did you mean by 8' sickle? Just out of curiosity.

Can you post pictures? They help a lot.
A good 2 bottom plow in these parts will fetch $350 pretty easily if complete with coulters, tail wheel and good wear parts.
Hard to say on the mower.
I know both Ferguson and Dearborn made side mounted mowers for Ns but have never seen an 8 footer. Maybe 6 or 7'?

My dad used it to mow along the railroad right away. I was 10 years old and had to help him hold up 1 end when he sharpened it with the grinder. That was 55 years ago. (What a wonderful invention those hand held grinders) They didn't have them when I was little that dang thing was heavy! It's still behind a bunch of STUFF but I can see it. don't know how to post pictures. And too old to learn. Thanks for your replys
