Well, when I break something at least I do it right the first time! Dang! Guess I'll be getting another one. Maybe a little JB Weld will fix this right up...lol Yeah, right!

Those look like very good pictures of when NOT to use a hammer!
Sorry about the bad break. (pun intended)
Hopefully you can find one pretty quick like.

From one of Gary's previous posts referring to his PTO shaft:
"I whacked it with a hammer a few times and it went in.."
I truly understand, I've made similar "what have I done" moves myself.
Pobody's Nerfect!

I pulled the pto shaft to replace the seal and it must have had a slight twist to the end that mates with the pump. When I went to slide it back in, I tried for several hours every which way and no go. So I whacked it a few times with a large hammer and it went in. It probably did not seat in the grooves and the first time I engaged the pto there was a loud pop and it thumped the next hour I used it and then nothing...no more lift (pto would still turn though)

Let me quess , dropped from 10 feet on corner. A
simple case for duct tape.

I could be wrong, now........but I think he is going to need a bit more than a 'housing'. :)

I got a used pump from wenglers of Penslvania it was a little pricey but I saw one on E-bay for $125 about a month ago so they do show up once in a while.

As much as I love JB Weld for small repairs, I believe you have exceeded JB'S magical powers. New hydraulic pump is in your future. Good luck.

Buyer beware on ebay--all are sold on ebay as good working pump, came from a running tractor..
I bought 2--one was pure junk-would not, could not pump--nothing but scrap metal.Seller was lieing and he knew it--hope he enjoyed stealing--his day will come....the other was a better known seller--I believed him and his was a good pump--buy from those u know in some way..
