Question on Compression Values and 2N not starting

Checked the compression on my 2N today as it is not wanting to start. Appeared to be getting spark also appeared to be getting gas, but not 100% sure. Plugs were fouled, black deposits. Compression test ran today and as follows stating with cylinder #1 100, 75, 110, 100. After adding a little oil to #2 it came up to about 85 to 90. Thinking I have worn rings at least in #2 cylinder from the readings. However would these reading prevent the tractor from starting and running? Put new points in distributor and am soaking plugs in lacquer thinner overnight as someone suggested. Will try again in a few days.

What's the story on the tractor? Has it been setting a while?
Others may disagree, but those numbers shouldn't keep it from starting.
May not run well on three cylinders, but it should start.
Ford minimum is 90, so the other three seem fine.
I would sooner think maybe you have a stuck valve or stuck rings then
worn rings on one cylinder.
Try pouring some ATF or 50/50 ATF and acetone in #2 and let it soak a day or two.
That may free up a stuck valve and/or stuck rings.
Roll it over with the plug out to blow the ATF back out. (makes a mess)
You can pull the plug out of the bottom of the carb to make sure you have
fuel flowing through it. Should run steady for a couple minutes straight.
Let us know what you find.

With those numbers it should fire right up and run fine on all but the one cylinder and even then that one would fire. You say spark appears to be there well that is not good enough you need to be 1000% sure yes 1000%. Blue/white in color and jump a 1/4 inch gap or more. Black plugs say gas fouled due to weak spark or running to rich. When was the last time you checked the air cleaner it maybe full of water and dirt which will cause you big problems

i'd think it should start and run fine on 3 healthy jugs and one that has just become marginal.

check spark.. then fuel.. AGAIN

if the plugs are fouled.. that's a no brainer...
