battery box suggetions

Do oyou guys have any ideas that might be more beuatiful than a bungee for a battery hold down on a 43? All I have is that flat platform and the battery hangs off the end. The battery that I have is a large 6 volt.

Seems like the bungee has become the most popular choice for battery hold downs, even in new equipment.

Just serviced a New model John Deere with bungees factory new.

i bet you could adapt a jingle stick style like the universal repops use and come up with a way to mount it.

If that platform has holes on each long side of it for "J" bolts to attach to, you can just buy a hold down kit from Pep Boys. That's what I use on mine.

I love bunji's, second to duct tape. JB Weld is right there also.

Most auto parts stores have a one size fits all battery hold down. I paid $4.00 for mine 2 J- hooks,2 wing nuts and washers,2 pieces of angle coated in plastic. Works fine.
