got it done then tractor fire ran a minute and quit so i went the square can coil took it off and where metal is something liquid drip from it. we has power to coil but no power our coil. so i put new coil and started right up and ran really nice.. thank every one

So now if you had done the trouble shooting and check for spark you may not have had to do all the other stuff. That is why we say check spark the fuel and most of the time it will be weak spark

Which of course caused the no spark problem.

And if you don't find out why you melted the coil, you will be replacing that new one as well.

yeah wish life was so simply but it not.. had to replacement carb gasket these set to long and was leaking gas.. you know when work on these tractor murphey move in.. and it happen.. i have short chair setup for him but every time i look for him he gone. but he still here somewhere .. now who has twin brother..
