i have cyclone exterior breather boiled and removed paint. there is rust underneath there are solderd joints will electrollis degrade or seperate joints.dell i crimped ends on tsc spark plug wires went well i used wire strippers with ignition wire crimp. not fancy $ ones working on this tractor has made me learn how our forfathers made thigs from nothing you make parts and figure things out with the help of old wise ones .in memory of my grandfathers that have passed

i don't recall whether i have tried a soldered part in an e-bath or not.. i know aluminum and brass and some other metals don't like it.. chrome and zinc. I have a feeling solder may not either.

i think for a small part i'd use naval jelly onit.. or other phosphoric acid stuff.. like clr or driveway rust spot cleaner... the driveway rust spot cleaner is liekly the cheapest..and you could make a 'dip' out of it..
