Just rebuilt my 8n engine!!

Just rebuilt my 8n engine!! runs great, lots of oil pressure and power. This tractor was off the farm I grew up on, my dad was an aircraft mechanic and kept it running perfect but it was worn out real even all the way around!! currently trying to figure the governor, I had to shim out the race to get it to the travel limit per the manual and I can't get it to govern. when i manually hold the throttle on the carb and hold the governor arm it pushes real hard so I just need to get it adjusted (replaced the balles, races were OK) The spring is hanging loose, will rebend that and let you all know. This forum gave me many useful tips and info on what to do. Thanks

Needs to be no preload and no slack.
