carb to breather

Sirs,
the 9n that I bought has no connection between
the carb and air filter. what do I use flexable
tubing or pipe? thanks in advance for any info.

They had a metal pipe with a piece of radiator hose attaching it to each end.
I don't see why you couldn't use a flexible radiator hose as long as it doesn't
collapse and close off the airflow.

frontier........yep, 1-1/2" tube with 2-ea short rubber couplings and hoze clamps. Depending upon yer local NAPA stock of radiator hozes, you could run all rubber hoze. Iff'n your feeling flush, you can even gitt the straight pipe "chrome plated". Check our sponsors (Yesterdays-Tractors) catalog at the left top of the side-bar. Iff'n I remember correctly, I got tired of fightin' the LONG metal tube and cut about 1-in off'n the end. Fitts just fine now. .......Dell

ditto what's been said... a piece of flexi hose rad hose or the oe style pipe.

both are available

service the air cleaner.. and perhaps clean the carb..

The rubber connecting hose and the shaped steal pipe are both available from the parts section on this site. All told, you'd be looking at about $30+ shipping. I wouldn't continue to run the engine until you reconnected the air breather.

take to muffler shop and have custom one made they make where take a canister type of filter like do with diesel truck
