Hey all. I just thought I would throw a post up about progress. I bought a 47 2n front mount in non running condition. Put a 12v conversion kit I had on it. And a used gas tank. It ran ok and tranny sounded good. So I tore into the no brakes. Both sets of shoes were soaked. I dried them up using a plumbers propane torch and brake cleaner. Changed both outer wheel seals and reinstalled everything. Had to change gear shift spring and top pin as well. Got it out of shop put a blade on back (weight for tracton we still have some snowy areas here in Ontario). It works ok for about 35 mins then it shut down like I turned the key off. Kept playing with it and got it down close to the shop. Thought it was fuel related but no. The resistor that came with the 12v kit was bad. Changed it and now I have neve had my 41 9n or this 2n start as good as it does now.

Had it out last Sunday (for the day) cleaning up trees that blew down in fields and trails on the neibours and on my property. I put it on some good hard long pulls and it works like a dream. Now just have to start changing worn out front end and 3pt parts. Then it"s time to start painting it.

Thanks everyone on this site. I don"t post much cause I usually can find answers just by searching through old post.

I have been trying to post some pics but I can"t cause I only have the Internet on my phone. Any ideas on how I can do this would be great.

Thanks again everyone.

Bob

That's great news about the 2N. I hope you get lots of enjoyment from it.

Sadly, I can't help you with the picture question. I still use an old fashioned non-smart phone.

Bob, on my phone, I write my post or reply - when I'm done I scroll down an click on "upload photo" then you choose where you have your pic, probably in your 'gallery', choose your pic from your gallery, the 'title or number' will be displayed an you click on "upload". It'll show you a thumbnail print of your pic, iffn you like it hit "continue".
Scroll back up and hit "preveiw yr reply" then iffn you like THAT, click "Post". Give it a try on the test forum, that's why it's there....I'll be lookin for it.

Only way I can think of to post pictures from your phone is to email them to someone here and let them post them for you. My email is open.
