Quick 8N Points Question

I"m in the process of changing the points on my 1950 8N with a front mount dist. As I was taking it apart, I failed to note where the little nylon washer came from. I know it goes with the nylon screw, but can"t remember the order that it goes. Thanks in advance.

Must have been modified somewhere along the way, as there was no nylon screw in an original front mount distributor, or side mt either.

Interesting. On my points, the nylon screw is the one that holds
down the breaker points and the copper connector to the screw that
contacts with the coil wire.

f I follow your description, then I suspect that paper insulators 1 & 2 are missing & some other arrangement has been made (nylon washer & screw), so the washer should be between points/copper strip & the breaker plate part (approximate location marked with 1 ).......want to insulate points/copper strip from breaker plate part the screw goes into.
