xring........look at the right side of the N-Block, you'll find cast indications of where the fuelpump would fit. And NO, the gravity fed N-Carb does NOT need a fuel pump.

Did'ja know early WW2 Jeeps used the N-Engine??? and the driver seat was ontop of the gastank??? Yep, needed a fuel pump and down-draught carburetor. ........historian Dell

Not all Industrial engines had fuel pumps. The one I have with an Industrial data tag never had a fuel pump! Would depend on what it was used for I believe.
 
thanks for the info I use to have a jeep cj5 "65 model it had a 4 cyl and I built a plywood body and put 16" tractor and imploment tires on it and man would it dig even the asphault street one time trying to pull a u-haul truck stuck I got to though. pulled a lot of stumps too thanks again
