Did Ford ever offer a "factory cab" for the 8N?

My cab wasn't made by Ford , but was new with the tractor, made by Steelcraft, This tractor was owned new by B.C. transit of Vancouver Canada to clear the snow from the bus depots , so the buses could get in and out to service. In 2008 , I bought it and re-finished the tractor. See next picture to see what it looked like when I got it.

It truly is a beautiful tractor.
Joe told me a funny story about the pucker factor of trying to see when
loading it on a trailer.

If you look at where the windows are located I'm sure you can imagine it.

Especially considering how many of them are left!

Here's a picture of Old-9's 9N I took at the Winimac, IN show.

Is this the one you meant?

Full cabs are rare, in Ultrdog's photos below, the first one with the V plow, is owned by Steve Parker. I have the only other cab like it. Made by the Brumbaugh Body Co. of Altoona , Pa. These were made for Military and Industral uses. Not many survived. I can atest to the cramped, hot, cab. Mine has a "pusher" fan or I could not drive it much in summer, although the doors come off. Shoot me an email if you want a photo. I tryed to post a pic but failed. joe

Thank you, That pic was not taken in my shop! I was able to "store" my tractor in a heated warehouse for the winter. Very fortunate only cost $200.She is sitting in a sea of campers and boats. joe

No factory cabs per se.
Though Ford did market a cab roof under their propreitary Dearborn brand.
Kind of rare but not impossible to find if you were patient.
Here are a couple of photos I found on the web.
By the way, if you were looking to just get a little more shelter while you are out there plowing snow there are a couple of manufacturers of canvas "half cabs" or heat housers.
There is one on Minneapolis Craigslist here lately. Price does seem a bit high but who am I to say.
Click on the link below.

i'd look at some pics of n series tractors with cabs there are a few around this site, note just where the cab sheet metal is, the main problem is unless your a small guy you'll be very cramped in there and lots of elbow bumping ect when your working the tractor, not to mention your breathing frosting the windshield, those cabs are small! for cold, a canvass winter front that flows heat from the engine back to your operators platform is better, your elbows will be above that and you'll be much warmer than in a full open station tractor, for hot, the old tractor umbrella or shade works better, that metal cab will amplify the sun's power on a long day and you'll be very hot in there
