You send anymore of that stuff this way I'm sending it back!

Where is globa warming when ya need it?

Rick

At least you can still see your hay bales and equipment haha. I have round bales that are just bumps in the blanket of snow we have and tractors that aren't even bumps anymore. Yesterday I went out on snowshoes for a little walk and noticed at one point I was standing on top of one of my hay rakes..... ha

Rick;
This storm is very quiet here, compaired to what I see there, and hear about around the Lakes Areas.
We only have about, 4" of new stuff on the front portch, but still coming down!
And we have not had the wind that you guys are getting. Very little drifting!!!
Woke up at 4:30 this morning, with 25deg. F., so the storm picked up a heck of a lot from here to you!!!

Gotta go mail out another carb this morning, SOOOOooo.....guess I better get shakin' here!!

Later!!!

GB :) [/i:7465108498][/b:7465108498]

We're getting dumped on here too. Blew the driveway once already and will have to do it again before supper. Got about 3" so far. Expect about that again by nightfall.

Hey that looks great! Keep it up. The water level at my cabin in Ottertail was real low last year. See what you can do if you try! Ha ha!

I think it's a conspiracy and you, GB and Colin are in on it. All of you are west and north of me and I wish you would stop that stuff from coming down here to the Twin Cities.

He told me that you were goin' like gang-busters, on work and he has to look for work!!!!
I mentioned to him, that you would probly help out in that area....maybe with a $25.00 to $50.00 an hr. job????? LMAO!!

Just trying to help the poor.....ya know????

Gary  [/i:64c49a7fd2][/b:64c49a7fd2]

Haha, Jerry! I know nothing about conspiracies...but those other two characters...I certainly wouldn't put it past them to cook something up. ;-)

Colin

Send down here to MO - we need all the moisture we can get. Hoping for a wet spring even it means a delay in getting in the fields.

We're pretty protected here, but your wind, Rick, looks miserable. We're in excess of 65" total snowfall for the season, according to the local NOAA weather monitors.

Here's what it looked like after I cleaned out the driveway today. Can anyone find the missing 9N?

I've been trying to get taps out on the maple trees for nearly a week with no luck. One way or the other they're going out on Wednesday. I don't think we'll have much of a run until next week.

For the season we are someplace around 235 inches and climbing fast, and the guessers are calling for 24+ inches by Wednesday.

At this point I would kill for a 65" winter. hahaha

LOL Colin yea we caught up with ya. That's about what they are reporting here.

Chevy....yea sounds like they "year of the blizzard". We got hit in early Jan of 97 with a single snowfall of 36" in our area. By the end of Jan we had set a new rocord. Was funny listening to the weather guessers after that. Every time it snowed we set a new record. You think? That was the year that Fargo and Grand Forks flooded so bad. That was why.

Jerry, nope it's gotta be Gary and Colin setting you up with more snow.....I wouldn't do that   !

9:40 PM and the wind is still blowing pretty good. 17 MPH and gusting to 26. Supposed to be -4F for a low with wind chills down around -20.

Hey Colin, wanna come over and help shovel me out?????

Got the 1206 Plugged in and keeping the block warm. Gotta do my drive, then drive 8 miles into town, do the MIL's drive, then wife's uncles on the way to the hard headed Marine's place then home.

Rick

With the wind yesterday, I looked like a walking snowball. I think I'll leave you to be warm and cozy in your tractor cab. Good luck getting all that snow moved.

Colin

I've been blowing snow all morning and am just now eating lunch. Then I still have to get one more drive. Did MILs lake and town house 8 miles away, in route did a family friends place to include blowing out around all his buildings and shed. Got the wifes uncles place touched up, and did mine. Lots of seat time today.

Rick

Been plowing snow all morning and it just keeps coming. Probably 10" so far and they are calling for 1-2 more feet by Wednesday night. Time's like this I question my living UP here.

LOL just got in, 6:20 PM, been on that tractor most of the day. Where in the heck is my global warming?

Rick
