direction of disc's

Would it make any difference in direction disc's are facing? I got a set of drag disc's given to me , I made them into 3 point disc, my front set of disc turn in, back set turn out. All the disc I see are the other way around , front set turn out, back set turn in. I purposely made them this way due to drag adjustment that was used on the original disc. I wonder if it would make any difference? Not that I'm going to worry about it, I'll probably only use my disc maybe 2 or 3 times in my lifetime, they will do me fine, just curious.

don't know what others you have seen, but I have 3 sets, Dearborn & 2 International & they all are front turn-in , rear turn-out, like your picture.

Looks right to me, too. This is the set-up on my King Kutter.

I doubt it makes that much difference in the long run - just as long as front and rear gang are reversed from each other.

thats the way mine was too,was ,as in i had to remove the front gangs due to no more discs around here [ ford 201] i weighted the heck out of it using trailer ramps for a d-4 cat and it still works for me on the rear set, my ground im using it on is well worked though and that may be the reason it still works too

This is what they looked like before I redesigned them.

I don't know , nothing worked when I got it, but I think it was something to do with changing directions from strait to angle, but I could be wrong.

Looks right to me too Stan. (is there an echo in here?)
I have a small 3 pt disk that is set up that way.
It works well, but in the clay around here I have to weight it pretty good.
Sorry about the bad pic, I had to crop it in a ways, made it a little blurry.
Nice job on the conversion by the way!

LOL I was putting in a food plot for the neighbor there.
Dry clay that had not been disturbed in about 35 years. All grown over.
Even the trees in the back ground were not there the last time it was plowed.
It didn't plow very well so I had to disc it several times, even with the weight.
The 960 played with the little disk, but it didn't have light front end issues
that I was afraid I would have with my N's lifting that much. :)
