Hi, All,
R+R bearings on Dearborn 10-80 plow. Disassembly not too bad between heat and a puller and a BFH. The plow disc spindle is held in place by two roller bearings, one on each side of the frame. The two bearings are different sizes, no prob (tho I need the bearing sizes -CNH site not helpful here "call dealer for information"). Problem is, I can"t drive out the cup for the larger bearing. Every other time I have been in this situation, there a little hole or a removable zero or some way to bang the thing out. Not this time.
I started to attack it with a Dremel tool and a little grinding wheel to try to thin down a section hat could then buckle. What"s the "riight" way to do this?
Thanks!
