Would anybody know where to get a hub puller for a 1922 Dodge Bros. car with wooden spoke wheels?

How about the thread diameter and pitch? It is the same as the hubcap at something like 2-3/8 or 2-7/16 X 16 TPI, I think.

How about suggestions about where to get some pipe with inside threads in order to make my own?

See pictures attached, and thanks a lot.

These show up on Ebay all the time. I have one for my 1924 Willys-Overland. You can measure the threads and then look here:

http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_odkw=hub+puller&_sop=10&_osacat=0&_from=R40&_trksid=p2045573.m570.l1313&_nkw=vintage+hub+puller&_sacat=0

If you don't see what you need keep watching, they come and go all the time.

Quoting Removed, click Modern View to see

If you can tell me the proper thread pitch I can make one similar to the one shown. What is the purpose of the clamping screw in the threaded collar and is it required?

OK, I"ll get you the thread specs. Thanks a lot. No, the clamp is not necessary if the threads are nice and snug. Loose-fitting threads would be a disaster.

I determined that the thread size is 2-1/2" X 16 TPI, and found that Fastenal sells a carbon steel lock nut with this thread for $22(!):

http://www.fastenal.com/web/products/detail.ex?sku=3154378

I"m hoping to simply thread the nut onto the wheel and use a conventional jaw-type hub puller to pull on the nut.

Thank you very much for your advice and offers of help.
