I believe he's finally starting to fill out inthe hindquarters..a nd his ribs disappeared.

I have to be carefull.. his pasture mates are going form well fed to plump.. :)

they are liking the extra alfalfa hay and picking up his leavings inthe feed bucket.. :)

when possible I do.

many times I'm passing thru the farm to / from work and can't hang around.. thus I can't stall the other animals and leave them there the rest of the day with no way to turn out.

if I am going to be there for 20-30m feeding the chickens / hogs / cattle..e tc. i will stall to feed seperately.

used to be able to get t here.. but we have a substitute product with even higher fat and protien that i am using.

same anise flavoring too

Good to hear he is picking up a little weight. Couldn't feed in a common area here like that. Have a thoroughbred gelding that would probably weigh 2000 lb if he had access to leftovers.

i try to limit cross feeding as much as I can.

I have a qh gelding that is picking up more weight then he should.. :)
