Well, its been a year since our girl Sadie had to go to the vet for one last time. Got a link to someone who was looking for a home for a dog they could not care for any more. Went down on sunday to look at her - an American Bull Dog...a lot more dog than we anticipated but she was so sweet and gentle we could not leave her - so, now we are the new owners of Ellie - a gentle giant! Well behaved, quiet, and very friendly - even has quickly become pals with our cat. She has settled in like she has been here for months! Will post a picture in a bit. Poor thing had a rough start as a youngster and was rescued by the previous owners who now have a toddler and another baby on the way so she is just too much for them - even so she has not shown any bad habits (good thing too because she is a very powerful dog). Everyone is happy with her!
