Hi Guy"s I"m thinking about selling my 2N,it has a serial # on the block 100651 the block has been welded & it has been rebuilt in 2000. I have a 5" box blade bought from Tractor Supply in 2001 (used very little). It has been converted to 12Volt. Also comes with a set of disc, 8' Ford. The tractor needs new wiring brakes & paint. I have put a new rebuilt, hydraulic pump(from external_link), clutch pressure plate throw out bearing, rear PTO seal & bearings.Rear tires and tubes are new. I sand blasted the rims primed & painted before mounting the new tubes & tires.I have many extra parts both new & refurb. plus various manuals that will go with it. Any help will be appreciated. Thank you, Jay2NSC

the block weld is the price killer.

maybee 2000 down south.. maybee more north.

if the 'bad wireing' is an issue.. invest 5$ into a roll of 14awg and clea n it up to sell.

It never ceases to amaze me why people will sell a machine for under value by a large margin due to a few dollar part they could easilly replace. seen it dozens upon dozens of times..

A lot depends on location of course. The fact that it has new rear tires is a big plus.
As sounder said block is not in your favor, but the fact that it has held up may be a plus to some.
In my neck of the woods, the disc would be worth nearly as much as the tractor if its in good shape.
All of that aside if its a war model. The serial number makes it a '42 if I looked right.
Just some random thoughts I guess without seeing it.
Clean up the wiring, tractor might bring close to a $1000 around here.
Disc about $800. TSC blades are selling on CraigsList for about $150.

That tractor would most likely yield you a better return if sold in parts... Rims with tires, hyd pump, hood etc.... There are allot of good parts ,, but the fact is the 2N has a patched up block, and needs work... Parting out that one can give life to a number of other tractors... Don't feel bad about it.
