Quick Hitch

Do any of you use a 3 pt quick hitch on your N? Harbor Freight has them for $100 and Northern Tool has them for $110, really not a bad price. I think it would be handy, because then I wouldn't have to hassle with adjusting, installing and removing the stabilizer bars and limiter chains every time I swap implements.

they don't always fit unless the implement is 100% correct geometry.. so you may have to mod a few things.

or just get a tractor or 2 for each implement.. plus a backup or 3 :)

I read a bunch of reviews on both websites as well as TSC and they all had similar feedback, but I couldn't quite get a handle on what sort of modifications were needed. Is it mostly on the toplink or what?

esides the top link point to two bottom points dimensions being 'not' category I standard on most Ford/Ferguson implements (vary all over the place. fron 13 to 27 inches among ), the quick hitch top connection often will not fit because of 11 implements that I have) (CAT I is 18inches min) insufficient clearance in the two places marked in yellow.

You might also want to take a look at Pat's Easy Change. It's made in the USA, only about $40 more than the Chinese quick hitches, and more tolerant of non-standard implements.
