replacing lift control valve on 9N

So what's the tricks/steps to replacing the control valve on a 9N.
Had a leaky cylinder, took the top cover off to replace it. Learned how to put the forks back on the control valve (thanks to you guys). Now find that the end of the control valve is broken so can't attach it to the forks. Must've broken when the top cover came off (didn't feel much resistance???)
So back to the question... How does the valve get replaced?

Remove the seat-remove both side covers- now with seat removed, you can bear hug the rear diffy housing and reach in both side cover holes--spread the fork and disconnect it from the control valve--slide the control valve out of the pump-slide in new one------spread the fork and reattach it to the control valve "T"...Reattaching the fork to the T is easier said than done but is doable. Install covers..Left side cover can be a little aggravating because it wants to twist and flop around..notice inside where the tab on the PTO lever must go-position it where it lines up then it will drop in place.HTH
