Need some help. What is a Sherman Over/Under in good condition worth? Another question, how much more is a 1952 8n worth in good condition with this installed?

Good, complete Sherman combination transmissions usually sell around $750.

8N tractors with a Sherman combination transmission in good working condition usually sell for about $500 more than the same tractor without the Sherman.

If one were to buy a tractor just to get the Sherman out of it, any idea what parts would be necessary to return the tractor to non-Sherman running condition?

Big question is what is the Sherman that you have?? There is the over drive/standard or the under drive/standard and then the combo which is over, the standard gear and under. The over is worth less then the under and the combo worth more then either of the other 2

Seems like if you're buying tractor "A" to get the Sherman for tractor "B", the parts removed from "B" would go back into "A". Some early N's had a straight cut gear on the input shaft...
